Celebrate Portland Arbor Day at Glenfair Park

Portland Parks & Recreation’s  Urban Forestry team presents Portland Arbor Day 2024, Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at East Portland’s Glenfair Park. Celebrate trees, plant new ones, and learn about the value and services trees provide through family-friendly, fun activities.

Glenfair Park is located at NE 154th Ave and NE Couch Ct.

Portland has celebrated Arbor Day since 1889 — bringing communities together to recognize the importance and value of trees. Trees provide essential services, including making Portland a healthier and safer place to live. 

Celebrate trees and autumn with art, food and more!

• Take a ride in a bucket truck to the top of the trees
• Enjoy music, food and games. Fun for the whole family
• Storytelling and facepainting
• Free Trees-- the Yard Tree Giveaway team plans to give away over 100 free trees at this event, sign up in advance
• Pick up farm-fresh vegetables.
